West Bridgford Table Tennis Club is a volunteer-run community club dedicated to growing the sport of table tennis in Nottingham. Founded 15 years ago by Phil Lewis and Gordon Fearn — with support from the Nottingham District Table Tennis Association. Their vision was clear: to inspire a new generation of players and make table tennis more accessible to juniors across the region.
While our primary focus remains on junior development, we proudly welcome adults of all skill levels. Today, the club has grown to over 100 members, with the majority being juniors. We field four teams in the local league and support junior players competing at national level events and local tournaments. Our sessions are lively, inclusive, and designed to help every player — from beginner to advanced — improve their game in a supportive environment.
Powered by volunteers, West Bridgford Table Tennis Club continues to build a vibrant, competitive, and welcoming table tennis community.
We have many juniors who have passed through our doors, once they graduate from our junior system they automatically become life long members of our club and are free to return to play when ever they like (As long as they help and spar with current players).
